Featured Artist

Once a week a noteworthy artist is chosen as Journal 15's Featured Artist. As a Featured Artist he or she will have the opportunity to showcase his or her work in greater detail. This is done through a combination of interviews, reviews, and self-commentary all linked to the artist's database page. One artist a week, artists may not be repeated within a year's time.

Featured Gallery

As we do for our Featured Artists we highlight a local venue that supports local art through the exhibition or sale of a local artist's work. Featured Galleries need not be galleries in the traditional sense, any business publicly displaying local art will be considered. Featured Galleries may not have a page in the artist database, but a link will be provided to the current week's Featured Gallery website.

Featured Editorial

The Featured Editorial section hosts thesis, theories, opinions, rants, raves and general discussin of current topics in the DC art world or the art world at large if written by a DC local. Special consideration is given to graduate students. We're looking to amplify a multitude of voices over a wide range of topics.
