Self-Description
Influenced by the simplicity of Rothko, and not all that good at figurative painting, I began painting lines, shapes and backgrounds and not much else. The original reason for painting was the strong desire to display art in my home and limited funds. When I first moved to DC I played the role of starving artist quite well and most of my favorite work is from that time period.

Bio
First off you should know that I am the owner of this site and far more interested in getting this off the ground than painting - for the time being anyway. I grew up in both Connecticut and Florida and moved to DC for law school. Never went to law school, but I did immerse myself in the DC art scene and [hopefully] found my niche. We'll see where this takes me...more to come.
