Self-Description
I work in several styles, from realism to expressinism. Much of my work is illustrative and detailed. There is always something hiden in all of my pieces, so they need to be looked at closely. I also use computer programs (photoshop)to enhance and add new depth to many of my pieces. For this reason I prefer to sell prints rather then my originals, though I am open to all offers.
Bio
My name is Mike Jones: I lived most of my life in Hawaii and attended the University of Hawaii as an art major in the 60's. I have shown my work in art galleries and other venues there as well as in Oregon, where I now reside. I have been a picture framer since 1970 in order to support my artistic endeavors. I also work in wood as well as jewelry.
