Bio I went to College in California, majoring in both Studio Art and Environmental Studies. I took every art class I could, attempting to satiate my desire to work with new materials. My senior art thesis was titled 'Cosmosis'- it was a series of large scroll like sculptures that hung like kites from the ceiling. I drew imagery taken from the medical book Gray's Anatomy and several National Geographics- attempting to illustrate similar organic structures within our body and in the world. I lived in Taiwan for a year, teaching English, and while I was there I collaborated with another artist to do an environmental art piece at a bird reserve there- we involved several community members in creating a bird's perspective of the local landscape out of natural materials. I then moved to DC and joined up with a major retailer, helping to design and create display and installations in one of their local spaces. I'm still with the company, and I'm also doing freelance art for private clients. I look forward to becoming better connected with the dc art scene...
